After recording the drums for our upcoming release "Death & Legacy" last weekend I am currently editing all the takes to make it just perfect and to form the basis for all upcoming recordings. This editing process will be done till Monday, the24th of May 2010.
Also on this weekend my home studio will be transferred to an outpost -- actually a friend's rehearsal room, just 4km away from my home town in Tyrol! So I have all possibilities (play loud, play at night, ...) neccessary to work on the guitar & bass recordings within the upcoming weeks! I also bought some new gear to make it the best SERENITY album so far!
While recording & editing drums I once again realized that all 12 songs are absolutely fantastic and Georg & I are extremely proud of them! Lyrics aren't finished yet, but from what we've seen so far Mario is doing a perfect job! Now we "only" need to take care on perfect recordings!
I'll keep you informed on the "Death & Legacy" progress!

Hi out there, just wanted to give you a glimpse of what we are doing right now!
Finally we are starting the recording process beginning with drums this weekend, next week a bit of editing and by the end of next week guitars! Rhythm guitars should be done within next weeks weekend. Then leads and so on. Georg will start voice recordings on the 2nd of June and will head over to Lanvall (Edenbridge) 3-4 times to finish his work. We 2 visited Lanvall and Sabine today to fix dates and listen to our preproductions for some minor changes in vocal lines. Orchestrations are almost finished by now and Mario is finishing his lyrics by next week.
So everything is just fine here in Austria. Only our ballad seems to disappear from our original plan. But don't worry, we have another METAL song up the road!! I'll have to finish this one on saturday!!
Going to be an awesome album - promised!!!
